Arvind_Brands, the joint venture between
Arvind_Mills and US-based VF_Corp, plans to open large-format retail
outlets this year according to local news
reports.
The 60:40 joint
venture currently sells VF's Lee, Wrangler,
Nautica, Kipling and Jansport labels in India.
Managing director
Kanchan Pant told The Economic Times that stores
in the range of 3,000 to 6,000 sq ft are a
possibility.
But he added: "We
will not forcibly position all our existing
brands in the large-size formats."
